Burglary Victim Brutally Attacked: Police Seek Two Suspects in Violent Home Invasion

Wallasey, United Kingdom – A 68-year-old man was left seriously injured after being attacked in his home on Stanley Close in Seacombe during a burglary. The incident occurred at around 4:20 pm on Monday, March 25, when the victim answered his front door to two assailants.

The man suffered a broken jaw, cheekbone, and eye socket as a result of the violent attack. Fortunately, no items were reported stolen during the burglary. Authorities are currently conducting investigations to identify the two suspects involved and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Descriptions of the suspects have been released to aid in the search for the perpetrators. One suspect was described as wearing a dark-colored zip-up jacket with a white L on the chest panel, black trousers, grey trainers, and a hood. The individual appeared to be in the 25-35 age range and had a short beard and stubble. The second suspect was noted for wearing a dark-colored panelled jacket with a hood, black North Face gloves, black trousers, and dark-colored trainers.

Merseyside Police have since made an arrest in connection with the incident. A 30-year-old man from Egremont was taken into custody on suspicion of assault. While he has been released on bail, investigations are ongoing to uncover further details surrounding the case.
