Durham Murder Suspects Concealed and Disposed Teen’s Body, Court Documents Reveal

Durham, North Carolina – Four suspects appeared in court on Monday in relation to the shooting death of 19-year-old Semar Barbour. Barbour was found dead in Morrisville last November, and the Williams siblings, Phillip and Nakia, face charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection with his death. The nature of their relationship to Barbour remains unknown.

Authorities revealed that Barbour was killed at a residence on Delray Street. Documents from law enforcement suggest that both Phillip and Nakia Williams are linked to the alleged crime. Prosecutors also allege that the siblings did not report Barbour’s death to the police and were involved in secretly disposing of his body.

Additionally, court documents mention another individual wanted in connection to the murder, although authorities have not provided further details about this person. At the court appearance, alleged conspirators Theodore and Sheila Cash, who are married, faced charges of accessory after the fact and assisting Williams in covering up the crime.

All individuals who appeared in court requested public defenders to represent them in the legal proceedings. The case has generated significant attention in the community due to the shocking nature of Barbour’s death and the alleged actions of the suspects. As the investigation continues, more details may come to light regarding the events leading up to the tragic incident.
