Florida Man Accused of Murdering Wife with Son’s Help in Tragic Cover Up

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities in Brevard County, Florida are investigating a chilling case involving the murder of Amber Estep. The investigation centers around her husband, Brian Estep, and their son Lane Estep, who are both accused of playing critical roles in the tragic event.

Amber Estep was reported missing by her mother, with Brian Estep being the last person to have seen her alive following an argument. Brian disclosed to authorities that the argument escalated when Amber revealed she had been involved in multiple extramarital affairs. The situation escalated to violence, with Amber allegedly slapping Brian before demanding to be let out of the vehicle on the side of a highway.

Shortly after this incident, Brian’s pickup truck was discovered in flames in a wooded area. Lane Estep, Brian’s son, was found at the scene and claimed he was there to ride his ATV. However, investigators later uncovered evidence suggesting that the truck had been intentionally set on fire after being doused with an accelerant.

On March 28, Brian Estep was arrested on charges of first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm and tampering with evidence. Subsequently, Lane Estep was also apprehended and charged with arson, being an accessory after the fact, and tampering with evidence, according to official records.
