Florida Florida Mother Charged with First-Degree Murder in Horrible Beating Death of 4-Year-Old Adopted Son

Winter Haven, Florida – A Florida mother is facing severe charges in connection with the death of her 4-year-old son, whom she adopted from Haiti in April 2023, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Patricia Saintizaire, 36, has been charged with first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, and tampering with a witness in the tragic passing of Bryan Boyer, as revealed by Sheriff Grady Judd during a press conference.

The investigation unfolded when hospital staff at Orlando Health Hospital alerted authorities about the suspicious circumstances surrounding the young boy’s death on May 2, which led to a medical examination revealing signs of severe abuse.

During the autopsy, it was determined that the child had suffered blunt force trauma and injuries consistent with ongoing abuse. The heartbreaking discovery of old and new scars on his body highlighted the extent of the mistreatment he endured in the home of Saintizaire.

In a shocking revelation, it was disclosed that the teenage son, also adopted from Haiti, had been directed by Saintizaire to withhold information about the abuse, including a threatening statement involving a gun. The investigation uncovered a pattern of violence inflicted on the children, highlighting a disturbing cycle of maltreatment.

Despite the tragic circumstances, the community is reeling from the revelation of the extent of abuse suffered by the innocent child. Sheriff Judd emphasized the importance of safeguarding children from harm, reaffirming the commitment to holding perpetrators of child abuse accountable for their actions.
