Investigation Underway After Delaware Murder-Suicide Leaves Three Dead

Magnolia, Delaware – Police are currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred on Monday evening, resulting in three individuals losing their lives in a murder-suicide at a residence in Magnolia. According to authorities, the incident unfolded when officers responded to reports of gunfire at a home on Cilento Drive.

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered a 38-year-old woman outside the property with gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save her, the woman succumbed to her injuries. Inside the residence, the body of a 43-year-old man was found, also fatally shot.

Additionally, a 49-year-old man, believed to be the suspect in the case, was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound within the home. It was revealed during the investigation that the suspected shooter had reached out to a family member, admitting to the shootings of his wife and her partner before expressing his intent to take his own life.

Fortunately, three children present at the residence during the incident were unharmed. Authorities have refrained from disclosing further details regarding the identities of those involved in the tragic event.
