Shooting Tragedy: Woman Killed, Man Injured in San Antonio Home Incident

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The identity of a woman tragically killed in the early hours of Wednesday at a residence on the Southeast Side has been confirmed by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Nicole Evette Wells, aged 37, succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds, as determined by the medical examiner’s office. The incident occurred at a home on the 5600 block of Espada Cliff, near Sinclair Road and Loop 410, prompting a swift response from law enforcement after reports of a shooting were received around 1:30 a.m.

According to a preliminary report from the San Antonio Police Department, Wells and a 41-year-old man were in the garage when an unidentified individual approached and opened fire towards the residence.
