Teenage Girls Brutally Attack Peer Outside Henderson Bus Station In Shocking Video

Auckland, New Zealand – A disturbing video circulating on social media depicts a group of teenage girls violently attacking another girl outside the Henderson bus station in West Auckland. The video, recorded on a Saturday afternoon, shows several girls encircling the victim, with two of them knocking her to the ground. Subsequently, four teenagers proceed to punch and stomp on the girl while one of them captures the savage act on video. The caption accompanying the video reads, “We’re not sorry” and identifies the attackers as all being from Waitak.

According to a concerned witness who preferred to remain anonymous, the same group of girls allegedly assaulted her daughter earlier in the day at Henderson Mall. Police officers responded to the incident at the bus station on Saturday afternoon, leading to the arrest of two young individuals. Investigations have been ongoing, resulting in the identification of two more suspects. This incident adds to a series of recent violent attacks occurring on or near public transportation in Auckland.

In a separate incident in Albany, two teenage girls were attacked by a group of six young individuals while aboard a bus. Police intervened, confiscating a weapon from one of the assailants. The traumatized victims have expressed fear and reluctance to use public transportation again, emphasizing the need for increased safety measures.

Reports of intimidation and violent behavior by groups of young individuals at Albany station have raised concerns among authorities. Tragically, a fatal stabbing incident took place at the station last year, prompting heightened security measures by Auckland Transport and law enforcement at North Shore bus stations. Auckland Transport’s general manager of public transport operations, Rachel Cara, emphasized the importance of ensuring a safe transport network for all passengers, especially children and vulnerable individuals. Increased police presence, patrols, and security measures are being implemented to address safety concerns not only at Albany Station but also across other bus facilities. Recommendations stemming from police investigations will be welcomed and actioned to enhance safety across the public transport network.
