Custody: Man Charged for Fatal Shooting at Belcamp McDonald’s

Belcamp, Maryland – A tragic incident unfolded at a McDonald’s in Belcamp, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Sebashton Nocar. Harford County Sheriff’s Office reported that a man has been taken into custody and charged in connection with the fatal shooting at the fast-food restaurant.

The authorities responded to a call about a shooting at the McDonald’s on Riverside Parkway late Tuesday evening. Upon arrival, deputies found Nocar inside the restaurant with a gunshot wound to the head. Despite immediate aid provided by the deputies, Nocar succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The alleged shooter, 32-year-old Djbril Ramatoulay, a former employee at the McDonald’s, was identified and taken into custody without incident. Sheriff Jeff Gahler mentioned that the shooting stemmed from an altercation that escalated inside the restaurant.

Residents in the area expressed shock and disbelief at the violence that unfolded in a place where many frequented with their families. One resident mentioned that they never expected such a tragic event to occur at a familiar location like McDonald’s.

Ramatoulay, who was on probation for assault at the time of the shooting, faced a potential prison sentence of 13 years. The sheriff’s office obtained an arrest warrant charging him with crimes related to Nocar’s death, leading to his arrest.
