Eyeball and Ear Missing: Suspect Allegedly Ate Victim’s Body Parts in Violent Las Vegas Attack

LAS VEGAS (AP) – A gruesome and violent attack near the Las Vegas Strip has left authorities shocked and investigating a horrific crime scene.

The incident unfolded in the early hours of Sunday morning, when police received a distressing 911 call from a 7-Eleven employee reporting a fight in the parking lot. What they found was beyond disturbing – a victim missing an eyeball and ear, and a suspect covered in blood and biological matter.

Colin Czech, 31, was discovered by officers kneeling next to the victim with a blank stare, refusing to explain his actions. The victim, known only as Kenneth, was rushed to the UMC Trauma Center but tragically succumbed to his injuries. Czech, displaying erratic behavior and claiming to have been fighting a “shape-shifter,” was also taken to the hospital.

The investigation took a chilling turn when Czech confessed to officers that he had been influenced by voices in his head, compelling him to commit the grotesque acts. He described a disturbing encounter with a “higher power” that urged him to use his teeth to harm the victim, ultimately consuming his eyeball and ear.

Detectives examining the crime scene confirmed the horrifying details – the victim’s body was missing a left eye and left ear, with evidence suggesting a brutal and forceful attack. Czech, upon release from the hospital, was promptly arrested on murder charges and detained in the Clark County Detention Center.

The community is reeling from the shocking nature of the crime, prompting authorities to delve deeper into the mental state and motive behind such a heinous act. As the investigation continues, residents are left unsettled by the seemingly senseless violence that has gripped their neighborhood.
