Mother in Bengaluru Mourns Daughter, Defends with Fatal Force

Bengaluru, Karnataka – In a tragic incident that unfolded in the Jayanagar area of Bengaluru, a harrowing turn of events resulted in the deaths of a 24-year-old woman and her 44-year-old ex-boyfriend. The woman, identified as Anusha, was allegedly stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend, T Suresh. However, the situation took a surprising turn when the victim’s mother intervened and bludgeoned Suresh to death during the confrontation on Thursday.

Anusha and Suresh had a relationship that spanned five years, starting when they met while working at an event management firm. Suresh, who was initially deceptive about his marital status, had promised to marry Anusha. However, Anusha later discovered that Suresh was married with two children, leading her to try to distance herself from him.

The tragic incident unfolded when Anusha and Suresh had an altercation at a park near Anusha’s residence in Jayanagar. Anusha, in an attempt to break off the relationship, met with Suresh, who reacted poorly to her decision. The situation escalated, resulting in Suresh allegedly stabbing Anusha twice during the confrontation.

Prior to the incident, Anusha had informed her mother that she was meeting someone at the park for a brief period. Sensing trouble, her mother followed her and witnessed the violent attack. In a desperate attempt to save her daughter, Anusha’s mother used a cement brick to defend her, ultimately leading to the death of Suresh. Despite her mother’s efforts, Anusha sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Lokesh Bharamappa Jagalasar confirmed that both Anusha and Suresh were killed around 4.45 pm. The police are currently investigating the incident, with Anusha’s mother being questioned in connection with the case. The tragic event has left the community in shock, raising concerns about the dangers of domestic disputes and the need for intervention in such situations.
